Women in Law Organisation, ANU

The Women in Law Organisation (‘WILO’) is a student-run mentoring program for female law students currently studying at the ANU. The program pairs these students with professional women in the legal sector as a means to empower and develop women studying law.

We have so far paired more than 200 outstanding female students with mentors from a variety of public, private, and not-for-profit organisations throughout Canberra. WILO not only creates relationships between students and professional role models, but also builds positive relationships between motivated female law students.  Relationships with other law students can be a source of support, friendship, and mutual assistance.
